230210. Matters ongoing since the last meeting
- Underpass lighting- NYCC has agreed to take on this responsibility
- Speed limits – – Cllr Mackay reported that any requests for 20mph will be refused. Cllr Spurrier reported that there is now a 20 is plenty facebook page. Awaiting the return of the Police officer from paternity leave. Clerk to write to PC Wood to organise a meeting with the council to discuss speeding/traffic issues
- Website upgrade – – Clerk to check with David whether if he can add our minutes and agendas. When Cllr Heard has sent the relevant passwords to Cllr Grayson, so that

8. Dog fouling and waste bins – Cllr Grayson has anti-dog fouling posters and together with Cllr Spurrier will post them in the village.
9.Dispute over Bridle path /Brant Lane – with Cllr Poskitt. The MOP reported that mountain bikers also have problems with the surface.
230211. Correspondence received –
Wildflower verges– – Clerk gave report on current situation. PC Sarah Ward has taken up the report of the incident by the clerk, has spoken to the contractor.
Renewal of contracts for local bus services – no change to the services supplying Stutton
Jackdaw Quarry – lorries leaving waste on the road, complaints from residents
Request from MOP for any posters/signs for Bag it and Bin it (dog fouling)
230212. Village Hall –
Report from Cllr Spurrier re Village Hall matters. AGM has taken place. The Chairman thanked Cllr Catt for her work in the gardening club, the outgoing treasurer, the PC rep and new committee members. Reported on the use of the village hall, with both increase and decreases by local groups. The committee reported a loss for the previous year, most of which is a result of the energy prices increase. The amalgamation of the VHC and the Social Committee is going ahead as there have been no objections. 5th March will be a village spring clean, 38 mops attended a rural crime briefing with the local fire chief adding on a session to do with fire safety. Another is planned.

230214, Grit bins – Clerk to ask Keith to check if they need replenishing (clerk to check with David where they are sited)
230215. Coronation – the Social committee is organising a barbeque for the Sunday. The council is mindful of the increased costs likely to occur with gardening expenses
